| Requirements: |
•10 years experience managing assembly processes
•Lean Certification required. •Ability to read part prints and a basic understanding of GRR and GD&T. •Computer literate with ability to run MS Office, BPCS. •Exceptional critical thinking skills, evidenced by the ability to take large complex problems and break them down into manageable projects to achieve successful results. •Understanding of process variability reduction, waste reduction (Lean, Kaizen) and growth principles •Aptitude for leading and managing organizational change and cultural transformation/re-engineering •Expert leadership and facilitation skills. •Ability to establish trust, respect and credibility and form close working relationships with all levels of an organization. •Ability to perform under pressure and navigate effectively through ambiguity. •Results-oriented with sense of urgency to in a fast paced environment. •Knowledge of best business practices. •Strong manufacturing industry knowledge. •Bachelor’s degree (Business or Engineering) preferred. |
| Description: |
•Supply positive leadership to the assembly department.
•Develop production schedule to support customer and financial requirements such as productivity, efficiency, and inventory levels. •Ensure all KPI’s assigned to assembly are met. •Identify and execute process improvement initiatives. •Ensure procedures, work instructions, and part specifications are compliant with the Holley quality system. •Evaluate and recommend new technology; justify and write capital requests. •Participate in and ensure completion of corrective actions. Lead problem-solving efforts to improve quality and eliminate waste/cost of poor performance. •Evaluate departmental personnel on job performance and build an effective team through leadership, mentorship, and training. •Contribute to the annual budget process and strategic plan by translating corporate goals into departmental objectives. •Create a safe work environment for assembly employees. •Lead, coach and motivate associates in the execution of improvement projects. •Document and institutionalize using controls and scorecards to ensure lasting project benefits. Identify and leverage best practices. |
