| Description: |
•Provide positive leadership to maintenance, manufacturing engineering,
and CI groups. •Provide project management oversight and leadership •Support the organization’s objectives of safety, service, quality, cost, continuous improvement, and growth. •Ensure machine uptime and asset utilization goals are met. •Coach and champion functions to identify and implement opportunities to improve program and process effectiveness. •Plan and coordinate training with others who will support the Process Improvement initiatives. •Lead problem-solving efforts to improve quality and eliminate waste/cost of poor performance. •Design, drive, and perform operational analysis of business processes. Drive and track these projects to successful completion. Apply analysis to improve process capability. •Work with product development engineers to ensure new products meet release date goals as well as efficiency and quality standards •Document and institutionalize using controls and scorecards to ensure lasting project benefits. Identify and leverage best practices across the organization. •Identify key elements of process improvement and partner with process owners to deliver sustainable and repeatable change. Develop and prepare metrics and related reports. •Facilitate the development of action plans to variances as identified through the audit process. •Facilitate and/or deliver training on the use of quality methodologies and tools •Provide input into the strategic planning and budgeting process by translating corporate goals into functional area objectives |
