Holley's EFI systems have definitely evolved the way people tune their vehicles and Doug Flynn's personal race car is a perfect example of this.
Doug runs a '72 Nova with a 491 c.i. Big Block Chevy coupled with our Dominator EFI System. Not only is the EFI system aiding Doug in giving him the ability to tune his car appropriately, but it also assists in providing reliable, repeatable results at the track.
It's easy to see that in two out of three runs down the 1320, Doug was able to match his times within .001 of each other.
If you couldn't tell by the times that Doug is running, we'll go ahead and mention the car is sporting some definite upgrades. He is running a healthy shot of Dry Progressive NOS, a set of two drive-by-wire throttle bodies, and a Holley DIS ignition. The rest is history as his best run so far with the current setup has been a 9.57 @ 138 mph. Quite awesome for a car that tips the scales at 3750 lbs.!
