Will the Commander 950 work with my aftermarket ignition?
ANSWER
The Commander 950 is compatible with Factory and aftermarket ignitions that produce a coil- or 12 volt square wave tach signal. It can be run with Ford TFI and Late model 7 pin GM HEI for timing control as well as Hall Effect or magnetic pickup crank triggers.

Do you need a laptop to get the engine running?
ANSWER
The 2D systems do not require a lap top for engine start up or tuning. All Commander 950 systems will require a lap top PC running windows 95 or higher with a minimum resolution of 600 X 800. The system communicates thru a 9-Pin serial port. If your lap top has USB port only you will need a USB to serial converter.

Unfortunately we do not offer a repair service for the ECU's. We currently offer replacement ECU assemblies for our current production systems.

Will the Commander 950 work with a wide band O2 sensor?
ANSWER
The Commander 950 Pro is compatible with any aftermarket wide band sensor and controller calibrated for a 0-5 volt output. Our part number for the kit is 534-188. If you have a wide band and need the PRO upgrade use Sale # 534-191.

Will The Commander 950 Work with a Turbo?
ANSWER
The Commander 950 is compatible with all types of forced induction up to 3 Bar (29.4 lbs of boost) when used with the proper 2 or 3 bar map sensor.
You will need to figure the Injector sizing at a .57 BSFC. If your application requires 6 or 8 low impedance injectors you will need a Auxliary injector driver box. Sales # 534-122.
