Get excited, because racing season is underway. This week in Bradenton, Florida, the NMCA Muscle Car Nationals ushers in the new Lakewood EFI Rumble Class racing. This new class is designed for production domestic vehicles, OEM equipped with electronic fuel injection. The Lakewood EFI Rumble is based on an index which you choose prior to the first scheduled qualifying run. While vehicles must run the engine type originally installed, there are no limites on displacement, compression or power adders. Stock style front and rear suspension are required; back half, 4 links, ladder bars, mini tubs and wheelie bars are not permitted. Street type, drag radial or drag slick tires are permitted with 11" maximum rear width (slicks). With indexes ranging from 9.50 to 15.00, EFI Rumble is the perfect class for all of you bracket racers with Lakewood drag shocks and suspension looking to step up to a national level series!!! Hope to see you out there on the strip!
