Somernites Power Cruise

Kentucky – Holley Performance Products is proud to announce that it is once again the official sponsor of the Somernites Power Cruise to be held July 24th, 2010.

This is Holley’s fourth year as the title sponsor of the Holley Somernites Power Cruise.  Tour legs will be leaving from five locations heading for the popular cruise destination of Somerset, KY where they will meet up with over 1,000 other cars who regularly converge on the historic city square one weekend per month throughout the summer.  The tour legs will be leaving the morning of July 24th from Nashville, TN; Knoxville, TN; Cincinnati, OH and Louisville, KY and Bowling Green, KY.  Specific meeting locations and times can be found at www.somernitescruise.com

“We are proud to be associated with the Somernites Cruise and especially the Power Cruise in July.  It’s a laid back deal, but a ton of fun”, said Holley’s Director of Marketing, Bill Tichenor.  “Last year we had over 150 cars rolling together to Somerset from Bowling Green.  The crew in Somerset put on a great event and the entire town rolls out the carpet to make the car enthusiasts feel welcome.  Everyone heads to the historic downtown square during the day for the cruise-in and then we drive up and down the four lane strip through the night.  The event is open to anything that has been modified from street rods, to muscle cars to slammed trucks.  Come out and see Holley’s new LS powered project cars and show us yours”, said Tichenor.

Holley will give away door prizes from each of their performance divisions including Weiand intakes, Hooker Headers, NOS Nitrous, Earl’s Plumbing, and FlowTech Exhaust throughout the event.
