A recent BETA tester for our 1.4L turbo tunes, Coy Patrick from West Palm Beach claimed “I got 10 MPG average increase in [my car] as long as I keep it under 3k RPM, and this is city driving, not highway.” All we could respond to Mr. Patrick’s experience with was “WOW”! Obviously, his results were based on a relentless pursuit of fuel economy which may not be repeatable by everyone, but it was great to see that a Diablo Tune can create this much of a mileage increase!

The tune selections for the GM 1.4L Turbo depend on the type of gas you want to put in the tank. For best results, we always recommend running the highest-octane gas available, and running the tune associated with that octane rating (e.g. 93 Octane, 91 Octane).
93 Octane Performance Tune | +35 HP / +46 TQ
Designed for the maximum power, economy, and drivability gains, this tune requires users to run a minimum of 93 octane in their gas tank to see the best power gains.
91 Octane Performance Tune | +29 HP / +40 TQ
Designed for power and economy gains while running 91 Octane gasoline. The power is a little less than the 93 tune, but offers the same great drivability gains.
87 Octane MPG Booster Performance Tune | +4 HP / +0 TQ
If you’re after fuel economy this tune is for you. Our mileage booster technology allows you to pick up 4+ MPG on your stock vehicle without adding a power boost. It’s perfect for long road trips or even day to day city driving!
