The first-ever showing of Holley LS Fest Texas presented by eBay Motors brought a special twist to the drag racing segment. Whereas most Holley events feature a tried and true drag strip complete with heavily traction compound-laden lanes and all the usuals of the sport, Texas, is a new, no-time, no prep format. Even cooler, racers will vie for victory down pit lane of Texas Motor Speedway on the same asphalt that NASCAR cars and other halo forms of racing.
The track will not feature any dragging or prep of any kind over the weekend and racers will have to use their tuning skills and right foot control to best the car in the other lane. It'll be a smoky, speedy, exciting thing to watch. Races will be contested on Saturday and Sunday meaning racers have double the chances at taking home the win. Check back here for results and photos of all the action.
