FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

AEM Releases Infinity Programmable ECU

for B/D/H and K-Series Honda/Acura, 4G63T Mitsubishi, 2JZGTE (US) Toyota Supra

January 10th, 2013, Hawthorne, CA — Infinity-10 and -8 programmable ECUs are now available and can support B/D/H and K-Series Honda/Acura engines, the Mitsubishi Gen I/II Eclipse & EVO VIII 4G63T and Toyota 2JZGTE USDM engines. Plug & Play Infinity ECUs are available for the 1993-’98 Toyota Supra TT. A vehicle adapter harness for the Toyota Supra Plug & Play app is sold separately.

Infinity ECUs are also available for universal applications for imports and domestics using certain AEM-verified cam & crank configurations. Visit www.aemelectronics.com for detailed application information.

The Infinity EMS delivers high-end engine control for the racing masses, providing technology, durability and capabilities that are typically found only in the engine control units used at the top echelons of Motorsports, yet at a fraction of the cost. Built around a latest-generation 200MHz automotive processor, the Infinity is capable of processing 400 MIPS (millions of instructions per second) and is perhaps the fastest ECU available today. All Infinity systems come fully enabled, right out of the box, without the need for feature add-on purchases. Combined with AEM’s industry leading after-purchase support system, including free technical support, the Infinity is the ultimate engine control solution for both professional race teams and weekend track cars.

Each Infinity programmable ECU includes ignition coil outputs and injector drivers equivalent to its name. They are multi-fuel and Flex-Fuel compatible and offer multiple strategies for boost, nitrous, idle control, ignition trim, charge temp blend and more. Infinity ECU’s feature lightning-fast data logging, dual internal wideband controllers, dual knock sensing circuits, drive-by wire capability, real-time sensor diagnostics and an internal engine simulator. The enclosure and connectors are sealed and suitable for engine bay mounting, and are designed to withstand the harshest racing environments.

The Infinity’s airflow-based tuning models simplify start up and speed up the tuning process by eliminating many of the lookup and trim tables (Correction Tables) necessary in previous generation ECUs. It’s fast and powerful, able to process 400 million instructions per second and calculate fuel injector pulsewidth in units of 1/10th of a microsecond. The software’s back-end ignition timing code is tested to 100,000 RPM.

AEM's Infinity Programmable Engine Management System is legal solely for vehicles used in competition which may never be used upon a public road or highway.
