Big 3 Racingโ€™s Infinity ECU-Tuned Viper Wins

AMSOIL/Mopar Muscle Dyno Challenge at Mopar Nats!

September 3rd, 2013, Hawthorne, CA โ€“ Big 3 Racing walked away with the win in the Power Adder category at the AMSOIL/Mopar Muscle Dyno Showdown at the 2013 Mopar Nationals at National Trail Raceway in Columbus, Ohio on August 9-11. Big 3 Racing brought a Gen 2 Viper with a Big 3 Racing-built 503 cid stroker engine featuring custom Big 3 Racing ported heads and twin turbo kit.

The Viper was tuned using AEMโ€™s Infinity-10 ECU and made 913 WHP on 10 PSI of boost. Big 3 Racing owner Rick Trunkett was impressed with the Infinityโ€™s capabilities and wasnโ€™t the only one. โ€œThe Infinity worked great!โ€ stated Rick. โ€œThe car ran smooth and the system impressed everybody.โ€

The Infinity EMS delivers high-end engine control for the racing masses at a fraction of the cost. Built around a latest-generation 200MHz automotive processor, the Infinity is capable of processing 400 MIPS (millions of instructions per second). All Infinity systems come fully enabled without the need for feature add-on purchases. Combined with AEMโ€™s industry leading after-purchase support system, including free technical support, the Infinity is the ultimate engine control solution for both professional race teams and weekend track cars.

The Infinityโ€™s airflow-based tuning models simplify start up and speed up the tuning process by eliminating many of the lookup and trim tables (Correction Tables) necessary in previous generation ECUs. Each Infinity ECU includes ignition coil outputs and injector drivers equivalent to its name.
