While it began life as a car-show build, Paul Haye’s incredible 1965 Plymouth Belvedere is now a full-blown Richard Petty/Ken Montgomery tribute Super Stock. While Ken Montgomery is still a household name in Nostalgia Super Stock circles, few know that the King of NASCAR himself, Richard Petty, left the superspeedway circuit to drag race professionally for a stint in 1965. Paul’s car is a pleasant reminder of the glory days of racing.
