EFI Systems Engineer

The role of a Systems Engineer is to be the Project Champion for new product development. This position is responsible for managing all aspects of the product development process from inception through commercialization.

Key Job Elements (Essential Functions Performed):

  • Directly interface with multiple departments, or customers to accurately define voice-of-customer product requirements.
  • Utilize project management tools to capture and centralize all tasks and information for each project.
  • Generate, maintain and adhere to project timelines.
  • Maintain regular contact with Development team members to address project status and needs.
  • Directly coordinate with Development and Testing teams to define and execute product testing plans.
  • Create training materials for the Sales/Tech Sales groups.
  • Collaborate with Sales & Marketing teams to ensure products are commercialized in a way that best serves the intended market for each project.

Position Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of internal combustion engines and electronic fuel injection systems.
  • Experience with project/product management.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and with others.
