Position Responsibilities Include

 

¨      Setup, instrument, and execute product testing plans as specified by engineering. These plans may require using any of the following:

o   Electronic test stands

o   Flow stands

o   On-vehicle

o   Engine Dynamometer

o   Chassis Dynamometer

¨      Interpret test data and compile into written, detailed reports.

¨      Perform EFI specific troubleshooting and repair on test vehicles or equipment.

¨      Provide clear communication to engineering groups at multiple facilities throughout testing processes.

¨      Modification and fabrication of prototype test components with direction from engineering.

¨      Contribute to the overall organization and maintenance of the Engineering lab.

¨      Maintain an orderly, safe, and clean workstation at all times.


Preferred Qualifications

 

¨      At least three years of experience in a product engineering development environment or additional technical training in electronics and automotive mechanics.

¨      Prior first-hand experience installing, tuning and troubleshooting Holley EFI and/or Sniper EFI products.

¨      Ability to setup and use engineering test instruments such as oscilloscopes, electronic pressure instrumentation, chart recorders, vibration and noise instruments, etc.

¨      Prior first-hand experience operating chassis or engine dynamometers.


Basic Qualifications

 

¨      High School Diploma or GED.

¨      Must be able to stand for long periods of time, up to 10 hours per day.

¨      May need to lift up to 50 pounds as needed.

¨      Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

¨      Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload.

¨      Self-starter, motivated to identify and complete tasks under your own initiative.

¨      Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel and PowerPoint.

¨      Must be versed in the theory and operation of internal combustion engines.

¨      Must know fundamentals of basic automotive wiring systems.
