Enhance The Suspension On Your Dual-Motor Tesla Model 3 With Performance Lowering Springs From Rekudo

Rekudo is pleased to unveil the RK200-10 performance lowering spring set for the 2018-2021 Tesla Model 3 AWD vehicles. These springs will lower the front and rear of a Model 3 AWD or AWD Performance one inch at each end. These springs work with the factory struts, and allow the Model 3โ€™s center of gravity to move even lower, while using a progressive spring rate (257 lb-inch front, 314-525 lb-inch rear) to improve the handling even more while improving ride quality. This not only improves handling, but closes the gap between the fender and the tire for that nicely lowered look without any drawbacks.

The Model 3 has been a smash hit for Tesla, selling in strong numbers ever since the first deliveries started taking place in 2017. Very similar in size to another sporting sedan that is viewed as the benchmark of the class, the BMW 3-Series, the Model 3โ€™s EV-only architecture is appealing to those who view a pure EV as the way of the future and want a bit of that torque-heavy acceleration that Tesla has become famous for. The Model 3 has a driving range that allows long trips, has the looks that have been drawing admiring glances since the first Model S took the world by storm, and has a price tag that is approachable. As a result, Tesla has sold somewhere close to the neighborhood of one million Model 3s (Tesla combines the Model 3 and Model Y production figures into the same report) in just over four years.

Installation of the springs is a fairly straightforward swap. You will need a second set of hands for the front struts because the upper control arm will need to be pushed up while the lower control arm will need to be pushed down. You will need to have a deep-well 13mm socket with a thin wall to access the three mounting nuts at the top of the front struts, which are recessed into the strut cap. And don't forget to use a quality spring compressor when removing the coils from the front struts...the last thing anybody needs is a coil spring's stored energy releasing without authorization. Spare yourself the risk or injury or damage to your property.

While the Model 3 is a highly capable vehicle in stock form, there is always room for improvement. With the Rekudo Performance Lowering Springs, your Model 3โ€™s already competent handling capability can now be further enhanced. Tesla vehicles are known for their acceleration, but you owe it to yourself to explore the Model 3โ€™s handling prowess as well.
