The race to 200 MPH with an EV dragster was fought between two camps: the legendary “Big Daddy” Don Garlits and Steve Huff, a man inspired by Garlits’ claim that he’d be the first driver to do it. Huff would be the first (201.37 MPH, Tucson Dragway, May 2020) and continues to improve his dragster’s performance.
