While muscle cars and hot rods have enjoyed strong popularity for nearly a half century, a smaller but equally loyal market has existed amongst the larger classic car universe that's gaining some serious traction as of late: classic trucks. Fueled by huge production numbers going back to the 1950s and model similarities that span nearly two decades, finding, building, and maintaining a classic truck has been a more affordable alternative to a Mustang, Camaro, or 'Cuda. The availability of these trucks as a low-buck option has undoubtedly resulted in their meteoric rise in popularity but while the market has exploded, the quality and availability of restoration parts has not. Sheet metal components, trim parts, weatherstripping, and lenses made with forty year-old tooling can result in ill-fitting parts which in turn leads to less-than-happy customers. Experiencing this problem first-hand, Holley Performance Products decided to offer a solution by providing an alternative, one-stop shop for performance products, restoration parts, and replacement components alike for classic truck enthusiasts, aptly titled Holley Classic Trucks.

Emphasizing primarily on domestically-produced commercial vehicles from the Big-3 (GM, Ford, and Dodge) produced from 1960-on, Holley Classic Trucks will initially focus on the GM "Squarebody" (1973-1987) and GMT400 (1988-98) models. With over 700 SKUs in process, Holley Classic Trucks is growing their product line to include many parts for Ford and Dodge pickups as well. The growing popularity of the classic truck market makes it a natural step in expanding Holley's product line.

With a myriad of options for classic truck parts, one of the things that sets Holley Classic Trucks apart from their competition has to do with their purchasing power. Traditionally, manufacturing a certain component requires a minimum buy...a batch of 1,000 parts, for example. Most smaller shops won't move that many units, nor can they afford to purchase said number of units, so the manufacturing doesn't happen until a group purchase can be assembled, split up between a number of competing shops. Four shops agree to purchase 250 parts each, say, and the manufacturing commences. In the meantime however, that part may be out of stock, for weeks or months on end. Holley Classic Trucks on the other hand, will be stocking all of their parts with a minimum quantity on hand, using their purchasing power to make those aforementioned minimum commitments to keep manufacturing on track and parts in stock and on the shelf.

Holley Classic Trucks will also benefit from their parent company Holley's large distribution matrix, selling both direct-to-consumer as well as through their vast dealer network. This opens up the market, offering Holley Classic Truck products through such outlets as eBay, Amazon, Super Shops and many other dealers that have not previously had access to the classic truck market.

Product details, quality photography, descriptions, features, and benefits will be another beneficial feature of Holley Classic Trucks. Line drawings, generic descriptions, or parts listings limited to a simple part number are a thing of the past! Every product in the Holley Classic Trucks lineup will be accurately represented with as much information as possible to ensure proper fitment and application of every component.

But being a simple parts house is not the intention of Holley Classic Trucks. In addition to carrying all the sheetmetal, brightwork, and restoration parts available for the classic truck aftermarket, Holley Classic Trucks will be updating and improving upon existing products when necessary, while also looking to innovate and explore new product opportunities. Providing a quality product is part and parcel with Holley Classic Trucks' business model, so when a particular component fails to meet their standards, all resources will be applied to develop a product that does.

Shipping large sheet metal components like doors, fenders, or a hood can get expensive, which is why Holley Classic Trucks does not charge oversize fees. By again using their large purchasing power, Holley seeks out the most affordable shipping option and charges accordingly. And those items that can ship via standard UPS, ship free for orders over $100!
