Holley EFI broke more records over the weekend during one of the first major radial races of the year. The U.S. Nationals, held in Bradenton Motorsports Park, provided epic side-by-side races in addition to impressive record setting runs. With new powerplants, chassis' and racecars, the weekend was filled with excitement from all classes!

Stevie Fast Jackson continues his reign of terror in his Killin' Time Racing "Shadow 2.0", the MSD Pro 600 powered Camaro shuffled No. 1 qualifier with teammate Marcus Birt on Friday. Saturday belonged to Jackson after laying down a 3.546 @ 213.33 MPH which not only netted him the coveted top spot, but also the official title as the quickest Radial versus the World race car. The party didn't stop there as he continued to stroll through eliminations until meeting Melanie Salemi in the third round. Salemi in her "Sidepiece" Camaro has been immensely successful lately racking up an event win late last year. She got out early, but Jackson reeled her in with his 3.548 @ 213.91 MPH to Salemi's 3.574 @ 210.77 making it the fastest side-by-side radial pass in history. Jackson now faced his KTR teammate Marcus "The Axeman" Birt, who happens to be handling the world's fastest nitrous doorslammer (tuned by Steve Jackson). Birt had been laying down consistent low 3.60 passes throughout eliminations and drew a bye run into the final round.

The two entered the beams and neither gave up an advantage on the starting line (.005 for Jackson, .008 for Birt), unfortunately for Birt his mill gave up the ghost on the big end ending his weekend with an impressive 3.609 @ 204.45 MPH. Jackson claimed another victory with his 3.561 @ 213.10 MPH run and with it, declared himself the one to beat for the upcoming 2020 season.

2020 is shaping up to be the fastest radial tire season ever, with racers looking onward to Lights Out 11 in mid-February, chances are good that Holley EFI and MSD Pro 600 powered cars will be on top of the charts. To see highlights from the weekend's race, check out Speedvideo's coverage below!
