Powered by Holley EFI, off-road star Loren Healy ruled the 2nd annual Holley EFI Clash at Cross Bar Ranch in Davis, Okla. Healy, the most prolific driver in the history of ULTRA4 racing, dominated the East-vs.-West format, which pitted top drivers from the Lasernut Western and 4 Wheel Parts Eastern regional series. "Holley EFI is quickly becoming the standard in off-road racing," he said. "I've been running this system in my trucks for five years now and haven't had one single failure. You can't beat the user-friendly tune-ability. It really is the complete package.” With a winning time of 2:26:42, Healy was first across the finish line, but he had to wait 17 minutes to learn that he'd officially be crowned champion because drivers in the huge field blasted off the starting line 30 seconds apart. Derek West claimed second place and Levi Shirley, who rolled during qualifying, joined Healy and West on the podium with a third-place finish. A total of just 1:18 separated the top five drivers on the demanding Cross Bar course, which includes an A Loop and a B Loop that brought all cars into the start/finish short-course area twice each lap.
