Installing a GM LS engine into a vintage car or truck is much easier with Holley’s new GM LS Retrofit Oil Pan. This cast and machined aluminum oil pan is designed to bolt on to your LS engine to clear factory cross members and steering linkages on 1955-’87 model GM muscle cars, classic cars and pickups requiring a rear sump style pan. Holley’s LS Retrofit Oil Pan PN302-1 maintains the factory LS engine fitment, oil filter mounting location, oil cooler port, engine NVH suppression, flange gasket and bell housing attachments. The pan comes with a sump baffle, oil pick-up tube, sump plug, oil filter stud, oil passage cover and everything you need to drop your GM LS engine into your vintage or classic vehicle. Although Holley’s GM LS Retrofit Oil Pan uses a traditional rear sump design, it maintains the factory LS five-quart oil capacity (six-quarts with filter) and structural rigidity. The external sump depth measures 5.89” from the mounting flange, 7.65” from the bell housing flange, and has an external sump width of 9.75”. When combined with a set of Hooker LS Engine Swap Headers and Holley Engine Swap Mount Plates, Holley makes swapping in an LS motor into your vehicle much easier.
