In the spirit of giving, Holley recently gave customers the chance to win the 4K Giveaway, a $4,000 coupon code as part of the 2020 Holleydays end-of-the-year event. With the kind of year that we all had in 2020, surely a little bit would go a long way for one lucky customer, and what gearhead wouldn't love a $4,000 shopping credit for something from any of the Holley brands? Many entered, and ultimately luck shone down upon Mark Hummer of Delphos, Ohio. Mark, a Mopar fan who has a few of the slab-sided B-bodies of the mid-1960s in his possession, told us how he felt when he was notified. He was "beyond elated, couldn't believe it" and had all but forgotten that he had even entered the contest in the first place. This made the notification, which he received close to his birthday, all that much more of a pleasant surprise.

Mark's primary 1967 Plymouth Belvedere II is this Sunflower Yellow example that has seen action in the NMCA racing series' Nostalgia Super Stock class, where the 440-powered machine runs on a 12.50 index.

Mark is a racer in the NMCA racing series, where his 1967 Plymouth Belvedere II runs in the Nostalgia Super Stock class on the 12.50 index. The Sunflower Yellow Plymouth is also a cruising machine, though its 440ci big block engine and 3.91 gears mean that the car is still plenty vicious. But for the last year, the focus wasn't on his cars, but his health, which he fought with for the better part of the year, He's pulled through well and has recovered, and is currently drawing up a list of parts to increase the Belvedere's reliability and fun factor. After that, there's a shop full of other cars, including a second 1967 Belvedere that is waiting for its build.
