Hooker Headers is proud to announce the availability of Super Competition engine ewap headers for retro fitting the new 5.7L Hemi into 1968-74 B-body and 1970-74 E- Body Mopars, P/N 5020HKR. The 5020HKR headers utilized lightweight 16 gauge 32” tuned length 1-5/8” primaries merging into a 9” long 3” O.D. smooth transition collector with a 3-bolt flange for a simple, leak-free installation. The tight tuck collectors provide maximum ground clearance for lowered vehicles. Thick 3/8” machined flanges result in a perfect leak free seal against the cylinder heads. All emission control fittings and O2 bungs remain for vehicles equipped with or needing functional emission controls. The 5020HKR headers will fit most manual and automatic Chrysler transmissions including the 727 Torquflite and the new Chrysler 5 speed overdrive. The 5020HKR headers are designed to be used with Street & Performance (or comparable) 5.7L Hemi engine swap motor mounts that maintain the transmissions in the OEM location. All necessary hardware and gaskets are included for a hassle free installation.
