The original drive-and-race road trip event is back for 2021! Hot Rod Drag Week, presented by Gear Vendors Overdrive, will take racers throughout the American Midwest as they drive from track-to-track, racing each day and driving hundreds of miles in-between on the backroads and byways of America. The drag racing is simple enough: the racers compete for the fastest average elapsed time at the end of the event by turning in their best timeslip at each event before they hit the road. The route is as far from straightforward as it gets and is designed to both add miles between tracks and to provide racers and fans along the route alike the opportunity to see what they normally would never get a glimpse of. And just to keep the teams honest, there is a list of spots where racers have to get photographic proof that they were at the prescribed checkpoints along the way. It's just you, a co-driver, whatever gear and spare parts you and your tiny, approved trailer can carry, and the generosity of fellow competitors. That's it.

• Lucas Oil Raceway in Indianapolis, Indiana
• Byron Dragway in Byron, Illinois
• ...and a return to US 131 Motorsports Park for the final round of the event!
