Kibbetech Racing Takes Third in Rage at the Desert With Holley EFI and HydraMat
Rage at the River is one of the most popular races in the series at the end of each year, for off-road racers and spectators alike. This year was no different, with a total of 400 race entries in all classes. The two day race is comprised of four thirteen laps per day, with the combined time for both races determining each racer’s finishing spot.
With 60 racers in class 1450 alone, Justin O'Quendo, the reigning 1450 Class Champion from 2014, drew 30th starting position. When the dust settled at the conclusion of the event, O'Quendo found himself in third place, having advanced 27 positions during the course of the event.
The Kibbetech Racing 1466 truck is powered by a Mullenix Racing built GM LS engine that is managed by a Holley Dominator EFI system. The truck also runs a Holley fuel system which features a Holley HydraMat to prevent fuel pick up issues in race conditions.
Justin and the 1466 team are looking forward to a profitable year for the 2016 race season.
