Quality Technician

Job Skills and Knowledge:

·        Inspect and determine disposition of incoming and production parts.

·        Investigate and verify quality related issues on production floor.

·        Write corrective actions and lead the problem solving team.

·        Support the development of the Holley Quality System.

·        Provide support to improve the Quality System through audits and other Quality improvement activities.

·        Professionally interact with engineering, manufacturing, purchasing, and vendors.



Minimum Qualifications:

·        A high school diploma or GED is required and two-year associate degree or college courses are preferred. 

·        ASQ certification as a Certified Mechanical Inspector or Certified Quality Technician is preferred. 

·        Must have good written and verbal communication skills. 

·        Basic computer skills are required (Excel, Word). 

·        Must be flexible, work as a team player, and interact with all areas in manufacturing, engineering, document control as well as vendors. 

·        Must have the following skills or knowledge: technical/shop math, blue print reading/GD&T, inspection tools/equipment, gauge calibration/calibration system, quality systems/auditing, supplier quality/receiving inspection system, process analysis/improvement (Pareto chart, trend chart, flow

chart), problem solving/corrective action reporting, hardness and plating testing knowledge. 

·        Must be able to verify part dimensions using engineering drawings / specifications. 

·        A background in Quality Control relating to the automotive industry is preferred.
