Travis Pastrana showcased his customized Subaru Bratt this year at Holley LS Fest East in Bowling Green Kentucky. To build his dream car Travis approached his friend, Josh Hall, with a request for a daily driver that packs over 500 horsepower, offers safety for his kids, and retains Subaru's reliability. Josh responded with an LS3 engine swap, making it a dependable daily driver with impressive power.
Travis wanted a Subaru with 600 horsepower and rear-wheel drive for drifting. So they transformed a 1985 Subaru Bratt by placing it on a C5 Corvette chassis and installing the LS3 engine, a Texas speed cam, and other performance enhancements. They also added safety features from Simpson and a few other Holley products, including a Holley clutch, Terminator X Max computer system, and a 12" Holley EFI Pro Dash. The result was a Subaru with the power and agility Travis desired.
