Rob, "Corndog" and Bernie are back with Episode 198 of The Kibbe And Friends Show for your listening pleasure. As we all weave through the dog days of summer together, taking some time to enjoy your blessings is always encouraged. Enjoy driving a car that isn't spewing smoke out from under the hood like the Titanic's smokestacks as it chugged out of Southampton. Enjoy having air conditioning that blows cold when the air temperature and the humidity index both begin with the number "9". And enjoy the fact that car show season is in full effect. Get out to the races and shows! Summer will be over before you know it, and within a couple blinks of your eyes, somebody will be handing you a slice of pumpkin pie to finish off your dinner.

This episode's Dukes of Hazzard review focuses on another episode from Season 6, "Play It Again, Luke". This is where you get to meet one of Luke Duke's lady interests for once, instead of the many beauties that Bo Luke fell for. We aren't going to spoil any details, not even this lovely lady's name. We'll leave that up to the professionals. But in addition to the episode review, you can enjoy other topics, including:

  • Building up a hot-rodded go-kart for the kids to go drifting in. Where were y'all when we were growing up? Our go-kart did six miles an hour top speed and all of the suspension was summed up in how much impact the tires could absorb!
  • The expletive-inducing cost of repairing an older air-conditioning system when it finally starts kicks the bucket on you in the middle of the summer.
  • The expletive-inducing cost of fixing a Cadillac that finally starts to kick the bucket on you in the middle of the summer.
  • The progress on Kibbe's General Lee build.
  • Holley's MoParty for the Mopar fans, Ford Fest for the Ford folk, and LS Fest East if GM cars do it for you. But what if you own an AMC? Eh...come to them all! "All Makes Combined", right?
