Can it be? Is it spring? Whether you're seeing the trees fill with flowers, are cursing the computer screen as a late-season snowstorm crosses your path or you've spent the last three hours in the backyard with tent stakes and rope in the vain attempt to keep the kids' trampoline from blowing halfway across the county with the wind, there's no denying that we've passed right on by the Spring Equinox. We've gone so far, in fact, that the guys of the Kibbe and Friends Show have enjoyed their Spring Break vacations and are back in the studio and are back to doing what they do best...having a chat before breaking down an episode of the Dukes of Hazzard.

And the episode that they break down is surprisingly relevant to them: the Season 7 episode titled "The Dukes in Hollywood" features none other than Corndog's screen-used General Lee! There has to be a bit of excitement every time you watch an old television show and see the car you have sitting in your garage. This is also an episode that stirred up one of the Dukes of Hazzard reunion specials, though if you ask us, we tend to be a bit partial to the 2005 movie, blame it on Rhys Millen's stunt driving and the wicked "halo" car that you see when the Charger appears with fresh paint and an absolutely stomping Hemi under the hood. They also discuss the new Batmobile from the latest movie, but really...does any Batmobile live up to the original 1966 version that was based on the 1954 Lincoln Futura concept car? Maybe the "Tumbler" from recent films...

Another thing that they brought up was National Pi(e) Day. You know, "pi", 3.14, the math number that was key to turning a circle into a hellish math problem? Forget the math homework, we'll celebrate with a slice of pie any day of the week. What's your favorite? Apple? Pecan? Maybe you like a regional favorite, like Key Lime or Chess Pie. Or maybe you want a slice of Caramel Pie topped with chocolate chips and whipped cream. Enjoy the sugar rush, we say! In the meantime, as you're cleaning off your dessert plate, have a listen to the latest Kibbe and Friends podcast!
