The Kibbe and Friends Show is back! Rob Kibbe, Justin "Corndog" Cornette, and Bernie McPartland are back and they have quite a bit to discuss in their latest episode. For starters, there is the Blue Origin NS-16 rocket launch that carried Jeff Bezos, his brother Mark, 88-year-old Wally Funk (an original member of the Mercury 13 program that originated in February 1961) and Oliver Daemen, the youngest individual to have traveled to space at eighteen years of age. While space travel aboard the most peculiar-looking vehicle shot into the heavens doesn't seem to be a gearhead item at first, frankly put that is the bleeding edge of hot rod culture at its finest–regardless of the punchlines made. Whether motivated by the advancement in scientific study, the dream to explore that which eludes most or the money involved (and when you're using the phrase "space tourism", you know what has priority), it is nice to see somebody, anybody willing to strap themselves onto a rocket and to find a way to rip past the Kármán line and towards the void.

Additionally, there is one of their in-depth reviews of an episode of the Dukes of Hazzard, in this case the episode "Heiress Daisy Duke" from the sixth season in 1984. We'll let the guys go through the episode themselves, but do yourself the favor and let them know that they need to get their act together and get their passes for this year's 2021 Holley MoParty sorted. The guys love the Dukes and surely to goodness, they aren't going to pass up the opportunity to see some General Lee hijinks in person...would they? Jamey Smith and his Charger will be on-hand this year and we hear he's got big plans!
