The Kibbe & Friends Show is back with a new episode for your listening pleasure. The beginning of February sees a lot of stirring in our world, doesn't it? After stirring several innocent groundhogs awake so they can wish six more weeks of gray, frozen weather our way, other signs of life start to pop up signifying that, indeed, springtime is on the way:

  • On February 6th, 2022, NASCAR raced for the first time at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum. There was concerns from the faithful that racing at the Coliseum, a short-track format, was not going to work. There were raised eyebrows as rappers Pitbull and Ice Cube performed during the event, and from others who were surprised that any kind of racing event was going to be held in Los Angeles at all. But NASCAR seems to be positive at the results, and the first test of the new Next-Gen race car seems to be a success.
  • Valentine's Day is coming up. Cards, chocolate, dinner plans, time spent...all good ideas. Want to know what isn't a good idea? "Conversation heart" candies that taste like sugared-up antacids, forgetting the date altogether, and even worse...buying "special clothing items" for your significant other. Don't do that, folks. Stick to the classic selections, don't forget the date, and remember that the heart-shaped box of chocolates has an eight-billion percent markup over what it cost to make. Bon appetit!
  • Is there a football game happening soon? We weren't paying attention, but apparently there is a big one that is coming up soon. We couldn't tell you who is playing this year, who is playing the halftime show, or any of that...we're just here for the commercials and the snacks.

There's plenty to enjoy, including a review of what the guys claim is the second-worst Dukes of Hazzard episode ever. How bad is it? Well...any episode that features stunt jump shots that use toy cars instead of real car isn't great, but when you dress up an actor into a cardboard suit that makes them look like a 1980s toy robot, you can be sure that the writers were at the bottom of the barrel and were scraping for every last ounce of material they could find. But "second-worst"? Hit play below and see if you agree!
