Utility Operator- Machine & Saw

Ensures the safe operation of an electrical powered Vertical band saw, Belt Grinders and other Hydraulic End-Forming Machines.

Essential Functions

•  Read and interprets basic Job Orders to be processed.
• Set Master and Fixtures for appropriate cutting and forming processes.
• Assures compliance with appropriate safety practices, maintain work place safe and clean.
• Effectively and safely, operate the CNC Eaton Leonard bender, belt grinders and Hydraulic end forming presses.
• Maintain specifications by observing, Jigs fitting inspection, taking measurements, detecting malfunctions and replacing worn tools.
• Adhere to quality assurance procedures and processes.
• Use assembly fixtures to check work and perform detailed inspection of pipes bent.

 Competences

• Establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with others.
• Must have a proficient understanding of programming codes.

Required Education and Experience

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent years of experience.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time, up to 10 hours per day.
• May need to lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
• Requires excellent verbal and written communication skills.
