1979-1993 Ford Mustang - LS Swap

The Fox Body is one of the singularly most popular platforms for going fast in the history of hot rodding, and for good reason. While the old OHV 5.0 is a solid base, when you really want to get wild, there's no better choice than the venerable GM LS. If you want to drop some Chevy power in between your Fox's framerails, Holley makes it easy with a wide range of bolt-in swap parts. Step 1: Engine and Transmission Mounts

  • Multiple mount designs that are specific to your k-member (Stock, Maximum Motorsports, AJE, and Team Z)
  • Multiple crossmember designs to accommodate a variety of transmissions including GM automatics and Tremec manuals
  • Black powdercoated steel for high strength, clean looks, and added durability

Step 2: Oil Pans

  • Designed for LS engine retrofit installations in GM muscle/classic car and truck chassis requiring more oil pan to chassis clearance around the front half of the oil pan
  • Traditional high-quality cast aluminum appearance with clean exterior styling
  • Additional clearance makes our pans a direct bolt-in that will not require any modification to your k-member
  • Includes two ½-14” NPT oil return ports to provide a convenient oil return for turbochargers
  • Provides OE Style fitment - OE oil filter mounting, OE oil cooler port provision, OE engine NVH suppression, OE flange gasket and sealing, proper structural rigidity and OE bell-housing attachments

Step 3: Exhaust Manifolds and Systems

  • Available in 304 or 409 stainless contruction, 2.5" or 3" diameter, and options for rear exit or turn downs
  • System features an X-type crossover offering smoother exhaust flow and resulting power gains higher in the rpm band
  • Utilizes factory mounting points for factory-like fitment
  • Designed to work with Hooker Blackheart GM LS or Ford Coyote Engine Swap headers as part of a complete integrated solution
  • Constructed from lightweight, 18-gauge, mandrel bent, type 304 stainless steel for maximized strength and durability

Step 5: Fuel System

  • Available in 340 and 525 LPH flow ratings
  • 6061-T6 Aluminum fuel pump module with a Sniper pump assembly drops into stock 1983-1997 Mustang EFI fuel tanks
  • 6AN o-ring outlet and return ports for easy plumbing connections
  • Filter sock, flange o-ring, and fuel tank lock ring included to complete your installation
  • The flange is bright dip black anodized for corrosion protection from undercar moisture.

Step 6: Swap Accessories

  • Mount Your Holley ECU Under the Passenger Seat on Your Mustang
