The Journey so Far

I purchased this 01 Z06 back in 2008. This was my 1st Corvette as all I had owned before that was the pavement ripping, trailer park loving, Lynard Skynard blaring f-bodies (Which I have owned 11 from the 1st 4 generations). Originally this car was going to be a weekend cruiser/test and tune warrior. It stayed that way with minor modifications (heads, cam and street mods) until 2016 when I decided to try my hand @ Optima's Search for the Ultimate Street car event at Charlotte Motor Speedway.

That event was the 1st time I ever got to try my hand @ autoX or road course driving. I also had my back window busted out by a golf ball that 1st morning @ the drivers meeting (CMS actually covered the damages, and the FM3 Staff made sure I got to do autox and speed stop that day) However, Rick Hoback took me under his wing the next day on the Roval @ CMS and stuck with me to make sure I had a great time. Boy did I... and now the car's build has went from straight line to full on time attack/autoX build. However I crashed the car in 2018 @ the Optima Invitational. Work in 2019 has kept me from really putting alot of time into fixing the car. It is slowly getting put back together and hop to be racing @ the end of 2020
