This brand new a-10 unit is a direct replacement for the gm a-6 compressor. This unit is designed to fit to the original brackets & hose assemblies. However, the a-10 is constructed of aluminum and is a 10 cylinder compared to the original 6 cylinder compressor. The new design is smoother, quieter & more efficient.
