Every engine swap has a few minor clearance issues that must be resolved for a slick and straightforward engine installation. The 1997-2004 Dodge Dakota has the battery in the same location as the Gen III Hemi air inlet and air filter (some factory intakes with driver's side front air inlet). The battery can be relocated to the right side of the vehicle using part number BHS76 (available separately). This change provides clearance for the air inlet and air filter, but the power distribution box can no longer be attached to the side of the old battery tray. The power distribution box (fuse box) is mounted using the new bracket, and it stays in the factory location to avoid wiring modifications. This part is fabricated from steel and features a black powder-coated finish (for a factory look and corrosion protection).

Features:

  • Power Distribution Box (fuse box) Mounting Bracket – Supports Factory Fuse Box After Battery is Moved Using Part Number BHS576 (available separately)
  • Ideal for with Gen III Hemi Engine Swaps – Use on Engines with Driver’s Side Air Inlet
  • Mounting Bracket is Made from Steel with Black Powdercoated Finish – Provides Factory Look and Corrosion Protection
  • Includes Mounting Bolts for Easy Bolt-On Installation
