In some turbo systems, it may be necessary to restrict the oil supply side of the system to prevent oil leaks and smoking. Special flare jet -4 AN style jet holders are available, w/ several optional restrictors to fine tune the oiling system (similar in design to a nitrous style Flare Jet, except in a larger -4 AN size). These adjustable restrictor jets & holders may also work in some EFI applications to dampen the signal for remote mounted sensors.

Features:

  • Adjustable Oil Restrictor Fittings for the Oil Feed (Flare Jet -4 AN Style – Similar to Nitrous Flare Jets)
  • Use w/ Turbo Oil Jet Holder Fitting (Sold Separately)
  • These Fittings are Made from 303 Stainless Steel
  • Use w/ -4 AN Oil Supply Hose

Oil restrictor fittings may be necessary on Ball-Bearing style turbos, and are not always required. Check the oiling system carefully and make sure there is not another problem (such as inadequate PVC venting or oil drain restrictions) that is causing the oil leaks and smoking, before restricting the inlet side of the oiling system. If restrictors are used to reduce oil leaks and smoking, start w/ a large restrictor and work your way down carefully to eliminate damage to the turbo (from over restricting the oil).
