Flowtech is announcing the availability of their new full-length header for 1996 – 2002 4.6L 4-Valve Mustangs, P/N 12114FLT. The 12114FLT was designed for off-road use only. This header is built with .049 cold roll flash controlled tubing. The 1-5/8” tuned length primary tubes improve the engine’s ability to breathe over the stock manifolds for a broad power curve. The 12114FLT header features Flowtech’s exclusive mandrel formed Power Plenum Collector and 5/16” thick flanges for a leak free easy bolt up installation. Each set of 12114FLT headers includes all hardware to retain the factory oxygen sensors, plus gaskets and mounting hardware. Flowtech’s 12114FLT header comes finished with a baked on high heat resistant black paint or for a show look, Flowtech also offers the 12114FLT with a ceramic coating, P/N12114F-1LT. This coating provides improved thermal stability reducing the possibility of header cracking. The high luster finish is rust resistant and acts as an insulator resulting in higher exhaust temperatures within the system to increase performance while lowering the under-hood temperatures. Available separately for the 12114LFT and 12114-1FLT headers is an optional X-Pipe for 96-2002 4.6L 4 Valve equipped Mustangs, P/N 12114YFLT.
