Holley High Voltage 2021 Registration Now Open

Whether you are an electric vehicle enthusiast, a gearhead who is considering EV potential for their next build, or are simply looking for an action-packed event, Holley's High Voltage Experience is the place you need to be. Taking place at Sonoma Raceway in California, a short distance from Silicon Valley and the magnificent Golden Gate Bridge, High Voltage Experience will let you see what Holley and innovators, engineers and builders are doing with EV technology. Participant registration and spectator ticketing has opened for the July 9-10, 2022 event, so mark your calendars and make sure to secure your tickets today.

The inaugural High Voltage Experience took place in November 2021 and was a great time for participants and spectators alike. Aiming to celebrate the electric vehicle community and to demonstrate the capabilities of electric vehicles, High Voltage Experience was the first of its kind to put fully electric vehicles and their owners on track in a variety of performance-oriented driving scenarios. From driving instructions from the legendary Randy Pobst and other accomplished racers to autocross, drag racing, and the 3S Challenge, vehicle owners were able to get their fill of on-track driving action during the two-day event. Not ready to put your ride on the track? Not to worry...High Voltage Experience also has various show classes to participate in while you watch the rest of the on-track action unfold. Sonoma provided the perfect backdrop, with beautiful views of the rolling hills and gorgeous views. In fact, Holley is excited to announce that participants will be able to enjoy the region with their High Voltage Wine Country Cruise, which will kick off the High Voltage weekend.

While there will no doubt be plenty of Tesla-built machines present, do not think that High Voltage Experience is just a Tesla-fest. Far from it, in fact...we were surprised at the number of creative builds that were present. Everything from a purpose-built off-roading Toyota 4Runner to EV-swapped musclecars, classic trucks, and factory-built performance machines like Ford's Mustang Cobra Jet 1400 and the Napoleon Motorsports' Chevrolet Camaro "EL1" drift car put on a show for attendees. And the crowds were the most surprising thing of all...seeing adults and kids alike excited to see these machines and showing their interest and curiosity regarding EV powertrain technology was encouraging for the future of electric vehicle performance.

We hope to see you out in Sonoma this July!
