Holley is pleased to announce that Hot Rod Magazine’s famous Crusher Camaro will be displayed at their booth during each stop of the 2014 Hot Rod Power Tour, June 7th – 12th. Fans of the car will recall that in a recent episode of Hot Rod’s Roadkill, David Freiburger and Mike Finnegan swapped out a 700 horsepower Weiand blown big block for a modern 700 horsepower Mast Motorsports LS7 powerplant live at the PRI show, then drove it across country (the episode can be found on The Motor Trend YouTube channel). Holley products helped make the LS swap a possibility with Holley EFI, Hi-Ram intake, twin throttle bodies, oil pan, Hooker exhaust system and more. To commemorate the achievement, Holley is giving away a poster on Power Tour showing both engines and an exclusive rendering of the Crusher by renowned car artist Chris Froggett. While at the Holley display, fans of Roadkill can also register to win some items from the recent Corvette Sinkhole episode including the gator head and Kobalt tool set. As always, Holley’s team will be present throughout the entire Power Tour to provide tech help along the way should the need arise for anyone making the trek. Holley’s sponsored stop will be on June 10th at the Summit Motorsports Park in Norwalk, OH. Join Holley for a day full of non-stop automotive fun and drag racing. Holley products and prizes will be awarded to those Power Tour participants that post the fastest times of the day for various categories of vehicles (i.e., quickest E/T with a supercharger, quickest E/T on spray, best MPH naturally aspirated, best reaction time etc). Prizes will be awarded to winners in each of those categories on stage that evening. For Power Tour participants looking for premier parking near all the action, Holley will be selecting one Holley equipped car for each stop to park at its display along with the Crusher and Holley vehicles. Watch for details on Holley’s Facebook page. Holley’s Terminator EFI has been finding its way onto many cars since it hit the market back in 2013. To demonstrate the system’s self-learning capabilities, Holley will have one installed on a running engine stand for the duration of the tour. Attendees can see firsthand how easy the Terminator is to use. All participants of Power Tour will have a chance to walk away from the Power Tour stage each evening with a new Holley product in hand as Holley will be participating in the afternoon stage giveaways that take place at each stop. Make sure you study up on your Holley history as that will increase your chances of winning big! The Hot Rod Power Tour takes place June 7th-12th, 2014 and kicks off in Charlotte, North Carolina then makes its way through seven states before landing in Wisconsin Dells on June 13th.
