Holley's participation during the 2014 Hot Rod Power Tour will include a variety of giveaways, product information, tech help, racing, and Hot Rod Magazine’s Crusher Camaro. The Hot Rod Power Tour takes place June 7th – 12th, in which Holley Performance's booth will feature the Crusher Camaro, as seen on Hot Rod’s Roadkill episodes. The Camaro's 700 horsepower Weiand blown big-block was recently swapped out for a modern, but equally powerful Mast Motorsports LS7 powerplant during the Performance Racing Industry show. Utilizing a variety of Holley products that included Holley's EFI, Hi-Ram intake, twin throttle bodies, LS oil pan, Hooker exhaust system and more, the Camaro was sucessfully driven cross country immediately after the swap. To commemorate the achievement, Holley is giving away a poster during the Power Tour, featuring the Crusher Camaro sporting both engines, along with an exclusive rendering by renowned car artist Chris Froggett. While at the Holley display, fans of Roadkill can also register to win some items used in recent episodes. Holley’s team will also provide tech help along the way should the need arise for anyone making the trek. Part of the Power Tour includes several stops along the route. Holley’s sponsored stop will be on June 10th at the Summit Motorsports Park in Norwalk, Ohio, where participants can join Holley for a day full of events and drag racing. In addition, participants that post the fastest times of the day for various categories of vehicles (i.e. quickest E/T with a supercharger, quickest E/T on nitrous, etc.), will receive a variety of Holley prizes. In addition, one Holley equipped vehicle during each sponsored stop will be selected to receive premiere parking near all the action, and be situated next to the Crusher Camaro and other Holley vehicles. Participants who want more information on Holley products will be able to talk to Holley staff at all of the stages during the Power Tour. Holley will also feature a running engine on an engine stand, equipped with its Terminator EFI, to demonstrate the system’s self-learning capabilities, and allow attendees to see firsthand how easy the Terminator EFI is to use. Finally, Holley will be participating in the Power Tour's afternoon stage giveaways at every scheduled stop, in which all participants with knowledge of Holley history, will have a chance to walk away with a new Holley product. The Hot Rod Power Tour kicks off in Charlotte, North Carolina then makes its way through seven states before landing in Wisconsin Dells on June 13th.
