Two teams were chosen to participate in the Car Craft Engine Swap Challenge that is taking place during the Holley LS Fest Sept 10, 11, and 12th. There were a number of applicants until two were selected. Justin Dermody has a 1970 Olds Cutlass and hails from Williamsberg, Iowa. The second participant is Corey Ritter from Glasgow, Kentucky who owns a 1969 Camaro. The Car Craft Engine Swap Challenge will pit these participants and their team to see who can swap in an LS motor into their vehicles. The team that accomplishes this swap in the fastest time and whose engine starts up first, will take home the LS engine supplied by Holley. This competition will be intense as both Dermody and Glasgow are ASE Certified Master Technicians. Make sure to come by the LS Fest and catch this action, and all of the other drag racing, autocross and show and shine, happening at Beech Bend Raceway in Bowling Green, Kentucky.
