Today Superchips unveiled plans to release the fifth generation of their flagship product, the Flashpaq F5. With over 30 years of automotive tuning expertise, Superchips has consistently brought innovative products to market with a focus of quality and performance. The “F5” Flashpaq launch introduces a brand new form factor with an upgraded set of color screens, increased onboard memory, and a total redesign of the engineering infrastructure. Superchips, a Powerteq brand, has established a reputation for delivering industry-leading horsepower, adjustable vehicle settings, and unmatched customer service. The F5 project has been a company-wide initiative to continue to “wow” customers. Powerteq President, Dave Martinez commented “The Flashpaq F5 really introduces a brand new product that will exceed the wants and needs of our customers. Superchips’ F5 will outperform any other handheld device on the market.” Customers can expect far more than a cosmetic change with the F5 release. The new product was revealed to media members and customers, and welcomed with a warm reception, at the 2015 SEMA Show. The innovative, slim, ruggedized case design is accompanied with a brand new 2.8” color screen that supplies sharp screen navigation and animated graphics. SEMA Show attendees were impressed to observe the tremendous processor speed in action. Superchips F5 platform will operate with reduced update, file building, and transfer times. What once took several minutes with the previous Flashpaq will take just seconds with the innovative hardware. New internet update software will accompany the Flashpaq F5 launch. Like all Superchips products, the Flashpaq F5 will have internet update capabilities using new software, “Ignition”, for added coverage and features. This adds even more buzz around the exciting offerings scheduled to begin shipping December 14, 2015. Superchips expects to make additional details available closer to launch. The F5 product announcement from Superchips comes on the heels of exciting news, made public just weeks ago, regarding new ownership with Holley Performance Group.
