Digital Community Specialist

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Creating and managing digital marketing campaigns using Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Linkedin, Tik Tok, and other platforms.
  • Reporting on campaigns and optimizing based on findings.
  • Testing new features and tactics as the platforms evolve.
  • Sharing platform performance and feature knowledge with upper management.
  • Responding to posts with accurate information and friendliness.
  • Developing digital marketing plans for new products using all stages of the marketing communications funnel.
  • Handle day-to-day social inbox messages and maintain a workload of projects.
  •  Identifying areas of opportunity and sharing this knowledge with both direct and senior management. 

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

  • Experience with and knowledge of automotive performance parts.
  • Experience with Facebook and Instagram.
  • A good display of photography and videography skills.
  •  Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or similar work experience preferred.
  • Experience with the following software: Excel, Microsoft Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent organization and time management skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate complex ideas and processes in a simplified manner.

Preferred Skills

  • 2-3 years of equivalent work experience.
  • Fundamental understanding of social media platforms and the active use of them.
  • Resourceful and able to troubleshoot issues.
  • Marketing knowledge preferred.
  • Experience with Hootsuite.
  • Strong videography using a cellphone.
  • Social media, photography, videography or design experience, a plus.
  • Ability to have fun and dress up as characters for marketing videos, a plus.
