Key Job Elements (Essential Functions Performed):                                                                   

. Administer employee benefits programs such as retirement plans; medical, dental, vision plans; life insurance plans and temporary disability programs.

·        Assist associates and managers with HR related questions, interpreting and explaining HR policies, and resolving employee relation issues.

·        Complete new hire orientation and the onboarding processes for payroll and benefits.

·        Administer the annual benefit enrollment process and throughout the year as needed.

·        Perform benefits administration, including claims resolution, change reporting, approving invoices for payment and communicating benefits information to employees.

·        Process and administer all leave-of-absence requests and disability paperwork: medical, personal, disability and FMLA.

·       Managing temporary labor staffing at multiple locations

·        Assist in the recruiting process by posting jobs on social media or newspaper and scheduling interviews as requested.

·        Provide HR reporting and analysis as requested.

Basic Qualifications (Education/Experience required):

·        Bachelor’s degree in human resources or equivalent experience and SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) credential.


·        4-6 years of progressive HR experience, with a focus on compliance, payroll, and benefits administration.

·        Demonstrated ability to maintain strict confidentiality with employee information.

·        Previous experience with ADP Workforce Now and Enterprise eTime preferred.

·        Advanced knowledge of employment laws, rules and regulations, policies and procedures, and audit and internal control guidelines.

·        Excellent communication skills, including verbal, written and presentations.

·        Strong problem solving skills and ability to assess when an issue must be escalated to the next level.

·        Must be analytic, detailed-oriented, highly organized and have excellent follow-up skills.

·        Intermediate knowledge and expertise with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
