Compared to the older #4412 carburetor, the most noticeable differences on the Ultra XP 2-barrel are the all aluminum construction that saves nearly 50 percent in weight, the centered air cleaner flange, and the elimination of the choke tower that leaves the 1-3/8-inch venturis unobstructed for maximum airflow.

Dan Moncrief and Shawn Bryson's Holley EFI equipped '92 Ford Mustang, made a blistering 1/8-th mile run of 4.94 @ 142.99 mph, at Brainerd Optimist Dragstrip in Ringgold, GA, April 12th -13th. The fuel injected, turbocharged, methanol-running Mustang is stuffed with a 5.3L (325ci) LS aluminum block with a stock rotating assembly, and a Holley Dominator EFI system to control it all. “Since we were started from scratch with the engine, the Holley Dominator EFI was the most logical choice for us," says Moncrief. "It offers so many features in one self-contained unit that it was really attractive from a cost perspective.
