You'll want to load up Marsha, Cindy and Jan and head out to a Monkeys' concert when you lay your eyes on Project Low Buck Long Roof! This low mile ‘74 Chevelle wagon will be motorvated by a junkyard fresh 6.0L LS iron block truck motor backed by a 4L60E tranny. A lowered stance and big 5–spokes wrapped in modern meats are sure to impress the girls and the wagon will be shot in a 70's era paint scheme sure to appease the tiki gods. Holley picked up the '74 for a “song” and plans to get‘er done on a budget! Project Low Buck Long Roof will serve as a test bed for LS swap parts and other new products and will showcase those products in driven form. Low Buck Long Roof took the brunt of our hauling duties on the 2011 Hot Rod Power Tour and didn't miss a beat! It even laid down consistent 20–21 miles per gallon throughout the entire journey. Keep a look out for Low Buck Long Roof at events like the Somernites Power Cruise, Hot Rod Power Tour and the National Hot Rod Reunion!
