Rick Lawson brought his 1932 fuel coupe front-engine dragster out to Beech Bend raceway for the 2021 Holley Hot Rod Reunion. The car runs in the Competition Eliminator class with a small-block engine fed by Hilborn Mechanical injection. A Powerglide transmission sends grunt to the car’s original 1958 Oldsmobile rear end and Lawson’s son pulls driving duty while he spins wrenches in the pits.
