AEM Releases 1- and 3-Channel Ignition Coil Drivers!

Designed for distributed and 6-cylinder racecars, deliver Coil-On-Plug performance without a CDI!

February 19th, 2014, Hawthorne, CA – AEM has released 1-Channel and 3-Channel versions of its popular ignition coil driver for distributed and six-cylinder racing engine applications. The 1-Channel Coil Driver is the perfect solution for delivering reliable spark energy on distributed racing applications. The 3-Channel Coil Driver is designed for racers who want to convert the ignition system on a 6-cylinder race engine to a Coil-On-Plug (COP) set up without using a CDI. They are ideal for ATVs, motorcycles, snowmobiles and racing vehicles with hardware space limitations.

The 1-Channel and 3-Channel Coil Drivers drive two-wire ("dumb") coils in COP applications, and can also be used as replacements for a stock coil driver.
