This kit will take all the confusion out of making a shortbed out of your longbed Chevy or GMC truck. In this easy to use kit, BROTHERS provides all the necessary provisions to complete this popular conversion simply and easily with basic hand tools in your own garage. The kit includes a CNC Laser cut steel templates with all project steps clearly marked, a pair of high strength, CNC Laser cut, steel inner "C" channel braces, a new shortbed front-to-rear brake line, new shortbed parking brake cable(s) and all necessary hardware to install the kit, along with highly detailed instructions. BROTHERS recommends welding to finish the conversion but with our steel inner braces, you will be able to safely drive or transport the vehicle to a certified welder if needed. Your driveshaft will also have to be shortened before re-installation.
