Check Out Mark Caro's LS Powered Rolls Royce

Mark Caro showed up at 8th annual LS Fest at Beech Bend Raceway Park in Bowling Green, Ky. with what might be the world's only LS-powered Rolls-Royce. It's a 4-door '79 Silver Wraith II with an extended wheelbase that might not seem to be the ultimate platform to showcase all the power LS engines reliably produce but has already carried him to 120-mph speeds in the quarter-mile. Caro's unique creation is powered by an LT4 with 250,000 miles on it that he pulled out of a tired '06 Chevy pickup. He retained the stock camshaft, added new valves and, to keep combustion inside the chambers where it belongs, beefier head studs and head gaskets strong enough for a supercharged motor. The car has a full interior and a custom-made console of his own design and was a big hit with LS Fest attendees, who never know what's going to show up LS Fest.
