Cleetus McFarland's "Leroy" to Compete at LS Fest West

YouTube personality Cleetus McFarland is bringing his world-famous “Leroy the Savage” machine more than 2,000 miles from its Florida home base to Las Vegas to be part of the 2nd annual LS Fest West May 4-6. The stripped-down beast, which looks more like an overgrown, overpowered go-kart than the Corvette it began life as, won’t just be blasting down The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway quarter-mile. It’ll be tearing up the autocross and 3S Challenge courses as well. If you’re not one of Cleetus’ quarter-million Facebook followers or nearly three-quarters of a million YouTube channel subscribers, “Leroy” is a 2001 C5 Corvette that he acquired when it still had just 32,000 miles on it. It has a turbocharged 5.7L LS1 powerplant fueled by, naturally, a complete Holley Dominator EFI system, and makes north of 1,000 horsepower on the dyno. Make sure you don’t miss the chance to hang out with Cleetus, the Holley gearheads, and "Leroy" May 4-6 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.
